Let’s Meet!

Individual Sessions

individual therapy

Just like plants, our minds respond to our environment and the care put into them.

As a therapist, I provide a warm and familiar space where you are able to be your truest self. Whatever your goal may be, I will cater to you and your unique path.

My specialties include trauma work through modalities such as TF-CBT and EMDR, and working with teens and young adults within the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. Much of our world does not cater to trauma survivors and those within marginalized communities. Because of this, I hold my clients as the experts of their experiences and provide a supporting space for all of their identities.

Caregiver Support Sessions

child therapy

Perhaps your child is healing from a traumatic experience, and it’s brought up your own? Or you’re working to care for your child in the way you wish your own caregivers did?

With my years of providing therapy and family advocacy, I want to give you the tools, the education, and the safe space so that you can best help your child.

Our sessions will focus on how you can continue to do the best you can for your child, no matter what life has thrown your way.

EMDR

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is a structured modality that utilizes bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to process traumatic memories. EMDR can be used with children and adults. I received my training in EMDR by the Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs and am pursuing certification.

I also provide adjunctive EMDR Therapy. This means that you would continue to see your primary therapist and see me for EMDR to address a specific issue. After the adjunctive EMDR is complete, you would go back to seeing just your primary therapist.

You can also find more information about EMDR here.

TF- CBT

TF-CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured therapy modality provided to children and adolescents to help them heal from trauma. I am a nationally certified TF-CBT Therapist (certified by the TFCBT Therapist Certification Program)

You can find more information about TF-CBT here.

Services Information

Cancellation & Late Policy

I require at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your session. You may do this by phone or email. If you cancel within the 24 hour window before your session, you will be charged for the full session. I take time planning for each of my clients, and this is to ensure that your time and my time are honored.

I will hold your session for 15 minutes. If you do not log on to your session within those 15 minutes, your session will end, and you will be charged for the full session.

I am currently accepting Anthem/BCBS, United Healthcare, and Cigna clients and private-pay clients at this time. For those utilizing private pay, I can provide a superbill at the time of session to submit to your insurance provider for out-of-network benefit reimbursement.

My individual and caregiver support session rate is $130 per 50-55 minute session.

My Rates

No Surprises Act

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance for services are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate from their healthcare provider (this includes therapists/counselors). A Good Faith Estimate states how much the services will cost prior to receiving those services. If you are charged $400+ more than the Good Faith Estimate, you are able to file a dispute claim within 120 days of receiving the bill. You can find more information about the No Surprises Act here.

I am licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, and I am able to see Georgia residents for telehealth sessions and in-person sessions starting Late July 2023.

My best mode of contact is email.  This way, we do not have to play phone tag, and I can refer to a thread so that I do not forget any piece of our contacts.
